This is one of the more fascinating specimens I've had in a while. This piece was found by a prospector using a metal detector in the Southern Nevada desert. It looks to me to be a solid nugget locked up in caliche, with a small amount of quartz matrix. It has a flat bottom so it can stand upright with the nugget at the top. This one is quite unusual and a fine addition to any natural gold collection.
Overall weight is 10.85 grams. The Indian head penny in used in the photo for size reference only. This will ship for FREE and comes in a nice display case.
