11.50 Gram California Gold Specimen (SOLD)

This is a really fascinating specimen that is quite unique. The gold occurs in a thick, flat sheet across one side of the piece. The gold itself has a rough texture and is attached to lovely white quartz. It is good sized weighing 11.50 grams and sits upright by itself displaying very nicely. For gold/quartz specimen collectors this piece is just perfect. It was found in Siskiyou County, California.
