30.25 Gram Australia Gold Quartz Specimen (SOLD)

This is an absolutely gorgeous piece of natural gold in quartz recently mined in Western Australia. To me, this is the perfect gold specimen. I love contrast of bright gold with quartz. The gold is visible in multiple veins from all different angles. It is very heavy in the hand too... I did a specific gravity test on this piece and it indicated approximately 23 grams of gold contained within the specimen.

The total weight of this piece is 30.25 grams (just a hair under an ounce). A beautiful display piece for any mineral collection.
