4.15 Gram California Gold Nugget (SOLD)

This nugget was found in Plumas County, California. It is a dandy nugget, BUT it does have 2 spots of 14k gold solder on it. It isn't very noticeable, but it is there if you look hard. It looks like someone tried to add a bail to the top and maybe a gem in the center of the nugget, but didn't finish the project. I think a jeweler could easily finish the job and have a beautiful pendant made from this nugget, or just keep it as it is and add some more gold to your stash! It weighs 4.15 grams.
