Crystalline Gold in Quartz Specimen

This is another awesome gold in quartz specimen found by a friend of mine using a metal detector in Oregon. The gold has an extremely rough crystalline texture, and the overall weight of the piece was approximately an ounce and a half. It must have been a real pleasure to have dug up this beauty. Now a part of someone's rare mineral collection.
